"Toward a Civil Politics" – April Faith Forum
In keeping with our Mission Statement to “…build bridges of understanding, respect and support…” our public forums are Community building and enriching events for everyone interested in learning a little more about other faith traditions or how different faith traditions may think about or address different issues and topics of the day. We hope you’ll round up your family and friends and come join us.
Program details:
Our panelists will speak from experience directly to the topic of upcoming elections. Justice of the Peace Mark Anderson, as a person who has been in many political campaigns and has had to face questions/accusations from some of his opponents and the public – “mud-slinging” at times. Both Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Elva Coor will help us consider issues around these challenges and the hard question of how the average voter can know what is true and what is false.
