Historic day – Newly designed Golden Rule license plate available
NEW design for the GOLDEN RULE license plate!!
December 2nd, this beautiful re-designed plate, which was approved by law-enforcement, the Motor Vehicle Department and now the Arizona Interfaith Movement went on sale! It’s history in the making and how to order a plate is below. If you have a plate – it is still a good plate and you don’t have to replace it. There are two things you need to know about the new plate availability –
1. Golden Rule Specialty license plates – that’s where you design the message you want for your plate ($50/year) - go on sale with the new design beginning 12/02/10.
2. Golden Rule license plates with the standard letters / numbers ($25/year) – will become available with the white lettering as soon as the inventory for the black lettering is used up. That shouldn’t take too many days, but if this matters to you, you might want to check on this detail before ordering.
Now, the plates as they have been known with the black lettering, will be collector’s items.
The NEW DESIGN is even more beautiful and we didn’t think that could be done. This time the GRAND CANYON background is richer and darker in tones so the white lettering pops and can be easily read while the background details are more visible, too. The bottom GOLD lettering that states, LIVE THE GOLDEN RULE, also pops out, being a traveling reminder to all to counter road rage and violence with kindness and civility. During these days it’s helpful to have that reminder and we’ve had many people in our community thank us for our Golden Rule initiatives.
HOW DO YOU GET A PLATE? Just check out www.servicearizona.com for ordering information. Or you are welcome to contact our office for a mail-in form. Note: Selecting your new license plate does not change the registration expiration date for your vehicle. Annual specialty plate fees will be charged at the time of your next registration renewal.
Huge thanks to everyone in Arizona who has a Golden Rule license plate. Our hope continues to be that our communities see more kindness and civility and that road rage and school bullying in Arizona become extinct.
LIVE THE GOLDEN RULE – treat others as you’d like to be treated.
