Religious Freedom Rally1 23 12

“Faith, Freedom, and Family” was the Banner held by two Japanese women for the Religious Freedom Rally yesterday at ASU’s Hayden Park.
Striving to draw attention to religious injustice that has been happening in Japan, speakers gather and shared helpful and informative messages, and two bicyclers who traveled from Atlanta to San Diego, stopping here in Phoenix for this rally.  Sean Rahman and Joshua Wildman were the young men doing this purposeful bike trek, and Sean spoke to this purpose to bring an awareness to this problem so it can be resolved.   Additionally, Mr. Toru Goto, who was wrongfully imprisoned for 12 years in Japan shared briefly about his experience.  Members of our Arizona Interfaith Movement Board also spoke to these concerns:  Ernie Bruss, Baha’i, Les Koel, Scientology, Pastor Ray Navarro, Seventh Day Adventist in Tempe, and Ajai Singh Khalsa, Sikh.
